SAMBA

AFRO

This African-inspired performance immerses the audience in the continent’s profound cultural legacy. Unique elements include traditional rhythmic patterns and ceremonial dances that embody the history of diverse ethnic groups. Each act transcends mere music—it’s a narrative of life, love and resilience. Drummers move in rhythmic synchrony, generating powerful sound waves that resonate viscerally. TAIKO

A spectacular and powerful performance rooted in the Japanese art of drumming. Its defining feature is the seamless synergy of music and choreography—every thunderous drum strike synchronizes with the performers' precision movements. The massive drums produce rich, resonant tones that reverberate through the space. More than a display of technical mastery, this show embodies Japanese cultural values: harmony with nature, the discipline of martial arts, and theatrical storytelling. OBSESSION

A high-energy musical spectacle fueled by the pulsating rhythms of Colombian Afro-Reggae. This electrifying show showcases the raw talent of Baraband's finest performers, blending masterful musicianship with hypnotic choreography. HIPPIE

A vibrant explosion of joy, light, and carefree self-expression straight from the 1970s! Our performers, dressed in dazzling psychedelic costumes, bring playful, infectious rhythms that'll drench any event in color and positive vibes. About Us

For over 6 years, the BARABAND team has specialised in training versatile drumming artists, creating spectacular shows, and hosting masterclasses. We are the heartbeat of thrilling events—opening parades and festivals, igniting national celebrations, and electrifying corporate parties with our signature *wow-effect*. At the same time, every member of our team unleashes their creative potential, captivating audiences with an unstoppable surge of energy.

Vadim Baranov

Founder & Creative Director

Vadim Baranov began his creative journey in 2009 as a member of the "Koleso" Theater in Vitebsk, where he studied theatrical arts, body movement, and voice control.
During this time, he discovered his passion for African and Arabic drums, performing with like-minded musicians in street duets and trios.
In 2019, he founded what would later become BARABAND. The project started with a small group of just 7 enthusiasts. Within 1−2 years, new members eagerly joined the team. Today, BARABAND unites over 100 performers aged 8 to 60.
Vadim brings vast experience as a percussionist, artistic director, educator, and performer. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with diverse musical groups and artists across genres.
Since 2019, he has devoted most of his life to building and refining BARABAND — a collective that transforms rhythm into unforgettable spectacles.
